Mr Peter Ong

Mr Peter Ong graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science, major in Pharmacy, and practiced at Singapore General Hospital after graduation. He also obtained the professional certification in medicines development, coordinated by the International Federation of Associations of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Pharmaceutical Medicine (IFAPP) Academy with the academic support of King’s College London, in 2020.

Currently, Mr Ong is a medical affairs manager at LianBio, a biotechnology company with a China-centric execution strategy. He drives Singapore’s cardiovascular medical affairs strategy and supports broader Asia-Pacific medical needs and events. Before joining LianBio, Mr Ong worked as the medical lead for the Oncology, Vaccines and Anti-infective portfolios at Pfizer. In addition, he was a manager at the Agency for Integrated Care, where he led a compact team to work closely with the Ministry of Health to implement healthcare initiatives aligned with national policies.
