INSTRUCTIONS FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS

  1. The deadline for abstract submissions is 30 Apr 2024, 23:59 hours (GMT+8).
  2. All authors must submit their abstract(s) online through the official website of the 33rd Singapore Pharmacy Congress. Submission via email or any other format is not acceptable.
  3. Submitted abstract(s) should not be published in any journals and/or online publications. Abstract(s) submitted must be either:
    1. Original and unpublished works
      or
    2. Presented at other conferences but has not been published as a full manuscript in any journals/articles. This abstract will not be eligible for any competition and award.
  4. Abstract(s) must be submitted in the English language.
  5. Any submissions received after the deadline or not adhering to the specified format will be rejected.
  6. The corresponding author will be notified via email if their abstracts have been shortlisted for oral or poster presentation as competition finalists by 14 June 2024, 23:59 (GMT +8). Should the abstract be accepted, additional instructions for the presentation will be furnished upon announcement of the results.
  7. If your submission is accepted by the 33rd Singapore Pharmacy Congress, you have a commitment to register for and attend the Congress and deliver your presentation. Presenting authors (including pharmacy technicians) must register to attend the full programme of the Congress by 30 June 2024. Otherwise, accepted abstract(s) will be withdrawn from the 33rd Singapore Pharmacy Congress.

ABSTRACT STRUCTURE

  1. The title of the abstract should be concise and indicative of the content of the abstract.
  2. Details of authors should be given in accordance to the descending order of contribution (from most to least) and should include:
    1. Salutation
    2. Full name
    3. Affiliated department(s) and institution(s)
    4. Email address of the corresponding author
  3. The following structure must be followed when submitting an abstract:
    1. Aim(s)
    2. Methods
    3. Results
    4. Conclusion
  1. Abstracts must be no more than 350 words, excluding the titles, names, and institutions/companies of the authors and co-authors.
  2. The use of standard abbreviations is acceptable. Place special or unusual abbreviations in brackets after the full word/phrase on the first appearance.
  3. Use numerals to indicate numbers, except to begin sentences.
  4. The use of tables, graphs, or other types of images in abstracts is not permitted.
  5. Abstracts will be reproduced exactly as submitted and will not be edited in any way. The authors are responsible for all spelling, grammatical, or scientific accuracy. The 33rd Singapore Pharmacy Congress Organising Committee and Secretariat will not entertain any requests for changes.
