Dr Taweechai Patun

Dr Taweechai Patun has been part of the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) inpatient pharmacy team since 2017, covering ICU wards, and he is an active member of the antimicrobial stewardship program (ASP). As part of the ASP secretariat, he takes pride in promoting the appropriate use of antimicrobials to help prevent the emergence of multi-drug resistant organisms. He has also spearheaded many ASP initiatives in KTPH, such as penicillin allergy delabelling and compliance to surgical antibiotic prophylaxis guidelines to promote the optimal use of antibiotics.
