GUIDELINES FOR ORAL PRESENTATION
- The oral presentation will be held at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Singapore on the following dates and times:
- Pharmacy Technician track: Saturday, 9 September 2023, 14:30 SGT
- Normal track: Sunday, 10 September 2023, 13:00 SGT

The authors of the shortlisted abstracts will receive an email notification; once notified, the authors are kindly requested to confirm their participation within 1 week from notification. Your confirmation within the stipulated timeline is highly crucial to avoid disqualification, forfeiture, or withdrawal of any award.

All presenters are required to register for a 2-day onsite pass to the Congress within 2 weeks of receiving the email notification. Presenting authors are eligible for early bird registration rates.
- The award presentation for winners of best abstracts will be on 10 September 2023, 15:15 SGT at the Grand Ballroom

Oral presenters may prepare an e-poster using PowerPoint in landscape layout (16x9) and save it as a PDF file. This will be posted on the 32nd Singapore Pharmacy Congress website.

Oral session presenters for both Pharmacy Technician and normal tracks should report at 12.30 PM in the conference venue, further details will be provided by email. -
All oral presentations must be in English. Please use the provided template slides for preparing your presentation. Slides are to be sent to secretariat.spc@mims.com by 04 September 2023.
- The oral presentation should include the following sections:
- Aim (background & objectives)
- Methods
- Results (tables and figures should be concise and appropriately labelled)
- Summary of key findings in the conclusion
- Impact and innovation
- Acknowledgement and declaration of sponsorship, if relevant
- References are optional: restrict to only key references
- Timing for each oral presentation (15 mins)
- Presentation (10 mins)
- Question and answers (5 mins)
- If you exceed the permitted timing, the session chairperson will be obliged to terminate the presentation.
- All oral presentations will undergo scoring by an expert panel to compete for the Congress awards.
- Decision by the panel of judges on the awards will be considered final.

The session chairperson will be responsible for the scheduling of the presentations, which may be subject to change owing to circumstantial reasons, such as unexpected withdrawal of presenters. Awardees will be notified of the prizes by email/SMS, so that they can collect the prizes at the award ceremony.
