GUIDELINES FOR ORAL PRESENTATION COMPETITION
- Judging will take place on 27 September 2025, 12:30 (UTC+8) at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Singapore. Presenters must be at the venue by 12:15 (UTC+8).
- Venue: Waterfront Ballroom, level 2
- Authors of shortlisted abstracts will be notified via email by the congress secretariat. Please reply to confirm participation within 1 week from notification, to avoid disqualification.
- Oral presenters must register for a 2-day onsite pass to the congress by 31 July 2025. All oral presenters are eligible for early-bird registration rates throughout the registration period. Please request the special registration link from secretariat.spc@mims.com
- Oral presentations must be in English and should use the official congress PowerPoint template: [Link]
- Please also prepare a physical poster, A0 size (84.1x118.9 cm, or 33.1x46.8 in), in portrait layout.
- Time for each oral presentation: 8 minutes
- Presentation: 6 minutes
- Questions and answers: 2 minutes
- Important: After 8 minutes, the session chairperson will be obliged to end the presentation. A good rule of thumb is to have one slide per minute.
- The oral presentation should include:
- Background & objectives
- Methods
- Results
- Discussion (strengths and weakness, pharmacy practice relevance/impact/innovation)
- Conclusion (take-home message[s])
- Acknowledgement and declaration of funding
- References
- Final slide deck must be emailed to secretariat.spc@mims.com by 19 September 2025.
- Award decisions by the panel of judges will be considered final.
- Award presentation will be on 28 September 2025, 16:30 (UTC +8), at the Grand Ballroom.
