Ms Deborah Chia

Ms Deborah Chia serves as a principal clinical pharmacist at the National University Hospital. She graduated from the National University of Singapore with a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and holds a master’s degree in clinical pharmacy from the University of South Australia.

As a board-certified geriatric pharmacist, Ms Chia has been active in the care of aged adults in the inpatient setting. She advocates for them in issues such as those stemming from polypharmacy among older adults. She has currently stepped up as a torch-bearer for sustainability in pharmacy and has already driven a cross-disciplinary pilot effort on the recycling of medication blisters.
