Dr Vivianne Shih

Dr Vivianne Shih is the president of the 117th Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore and a specialist pharmacist at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS). She obtained both her Doctor of Pharmacy and Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) Honours degrees from the National University of Singapore. Dr Shih is also US-board certified in both pharmacotherapy and oncology.

Dr Shih has been practising in oncology for close to 20 years. As the clinical lead for the pharmacy department at NCCS, she has been pivotal in the setting up of clinical pharmacy services. Dr Shih set up the Chemotherapy Treatment Review Clinic, and this service won the 4th Kobayashi Foundation Award in 2016. In 2020, she collaborated with the Division of Medical Oncology and set up the home care service. She is currently the associate programme director for the National Pharmacy Residency Programme R2 (Oncology) and precepts PharmD clerkship students.
