Dr Lin Weiqin

Dr Lin Weiqin holds an appointment as assistant professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He is also the current vice president of the Heart Failure Society (Singapore).

Dr Lin has undergone training in adult cardiology at the National University Heart Centre, Singapore (NUHCS), and in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA. He is currently a senior consultant at the Department of Cardiology, NUHCS, where he serves as clinical director of the Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathy Programme, as well as director of the Heart Failure Fellowship Programme.

Dr Lin’s clinical and research interests include advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock, mechanical circulatory support and cardiomyopathies. He also participates in the committee for the national heart transplant and mechanical circulatory support programmes.
