Dr Christina Tan

Dr Christina Tan is a principal pharmacist (clinical) at the Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), with more than 10 years of inpatient pharmacy experience. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the National University of Singapore in 2015 and board certification in pharmacotherapy (BCPS, USA) in 2016. Her areas of interest include deprescribing, palliative medicine and critical care medicine. As an advocate for deprescribing, she had helmed a series of pharmacist-initiated deprescribing efforts within TTSH to reduce low-value prescribing, such as inappropriate proton-pump inhibitor use.
