Ms Ong Wan Qin 

Ms Ong Wan Qin is a senior pharmacist (clinical) from Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). She graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy in 2014 and obtained her Master in Clinical Pharmacy from Queen’s University, UK, in 2021. She is also a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist and a collaborative prescriber.

Ms Ong’s clinical work involves diabetes care in inpatient and outpatient settings. She is one of the first batch es of clinical diabetes educators (CDEs) at the TTSH AMK Specialist Clinic. She works with doctors, nurses and other allied health professionals (AHPs) in a transdisciplinary diabetes care team to provide patient-centred holistic diabetes care and education. Ms Ong is also actively involved in diabetes mellitus (DM) education for AHPs. Her role includes transdisciplinary training for AHPs under the CDE Programme. She is also a member of the National Healthcare Group DM Education for HCPs sub-workgroup.
