Track Theme for Breakout Sessions

Track A
Navigating Clinical Crossroads

Synopsis: The rapid expansion of clinical evidence and guidelines has led to significant information overload and frequent contradictions between publications. Consequently, there is an urgent need for clinicians to refine their reasoning and judgment to effectively apply vast amounts of data to bedside practice. This challenge is further intensified by the rising accessibility of generative AI tools for summarizing clinical information. This track explores key clinical controversies and discourses, featuring experts who will deconstruct their
decision-making processes to provide a guiding compass for participants.

Track B
Bridging Pharmacy Practice and the Pharmaceutical Industry

Synopsis: Recognized as complementary pillars of healthcare, pharmacy practice and the pharmaceutical industry have undergone a necessary evolution to ensure clinical independence. However, this distance has fostered a disconnect where the intersection of their work is often undervalued. This track is designed to bridge this gap, facilitating a high-level exchange between pharmacists and industry leaders to cultivate a more integrated appreciation of their shared goals in patient care.

Track C
Cultivating the Heart of Pharmacy

Synopsis: At its core, pharmacy is the health science and profession dedicated to the production, preparation, dispensing, and optimal use of medications. As the field evolves to meet complex global healthcare challenges, it is vital to revisit and reinforce its fundamental values. This track explores these foundations through the lens of medical humanities, professional identity, and the pressing real-world issues currently shaping the profession.
