Plenary Lecture 2: Updates in Vaccinations

Vaccination is one of the most successful public health interventions, having prevented infections, cancers, and disabilities, as well as saving many lives.

History has shown us the successes of vaccination against many infections, and we can replicate these successes in many other diseases. Vaccination is the foundation of effective healthcare interventions which allow us to live longer and healthier.

In this session, we will explore and seek to understand some of the upcoming newer vaccines and harness their potential impact on the population.
