Clinical A/Prof Joyce Lam Ching Mei

A/Prof Joyce Lam Ching Mei is a senior consultant haematologist and head of the haematology laboratory and blood bank at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She has expertise in diagnostic haematology, cytopaenias, bleeding and clotting disorders in children, and general paediatric oncology. Her research interests include outcome-based assessments in haemophilia, long-term clinical outcomes in thalassaemia, and anticoagulation strategies in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. A/Prof Lam is the primary investigator for a number of clinical trials in paediatric haemophilia and anticoagulation. She is also a clinical associate professor at the Duke-NUS Graduate School of Medicine and has concurrent teaching appointments at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.
