Overcoming Healthcare Challenges with the Cloud

This presentation will discuss: (1) how cloud computing is able to solve healthcare industry challenges that are preventing healthcare organisations from realising personalized health delivery; (2) the approach of Amazon Web Services (AWS) for supporting healthcare organizations in solving some of the most difficult healthcare challenges; and (3) case studies (from Singapore and international) where healthcare organisations have successfully tapped into the power of the cloud to impact patient care and empower the healthcare workforce. In addition to case studies in pharmacy, the presentation will also include the OneNUHS App success story, where the National University Health System (NUHS) collaborated with Integrated Health Information Systems (IHiS) and AWS to create a mobile healthcare application that extends healthcare services beyond the hospital, providing telehealth services and more.
