Medication Information on NHG Chatbot – Bringing Medication Information Closer to You, Anytime and Anywhere
To date, innovation and digitalisation have transformed and modernised various sectors, and healthcare is no exception. The increased use of artificial intelligence platforms, such as chatbots, is an example of this. To empower and activate patients to own and better manage their health, patient education needs to be delivered to patients in an easily accessible yet reliable manner. The NHG Medication Information on Chatbot (NMIC) was created to provide patients and caregivers with targeted information on medication via question-and-bite-size-answer format. It also aims to provide a consistent experience to National Healthcare Group (NHG) users with harmonised medication information.
This session aims to provide highlights on the usability and patient opinions of NMIC, as well as suggest possible future studies and areas of application.
